Dentures Pembroke Pines FL
Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth. There are two types of dentures.
Complete & Partial
- Complete dentures are used when all teeth are missing.
- Partials are used when some natural teeth are present.
Most dentures are made of acrylic and can be fabricated in two different ways. A conventional denture is made after all teeth have been extracted and tissues have healed. An immediate denture is fabricated and inserted immediately after all the teeth are extracted. The upper denture covers the palate completely and the lower denture has the shape of a horseshoe. they can be fabricated on top of dental implants for better fitting. Teeth are made of plastic or porcelain.
Dentures after few years need to be replaced or relined as the bone and gum ridges recede or shrink due to the extraction of the teeth. Regular dental examinations are important to check oral tissues for disease or change.
Our dentures can help restore your smiles and help provide support to both your cheeks and lips.
